Connect SFP+ to SFP+ ports
SFP+ 10G Active Optical Cables (AOC) cables are hot-pluggable solutions suitable for supporting links up to 300m using optical fibre. These factory-terminated and tested transceiver modules and cables are ideal for connecting racks, switches, hubs, and Storage Area Networks (SAN).
SFP+ 10G AOC cables are easy to manage and available in lengths of 1m, 3m, 5m, 10m, 20m, and 30m. Longer cable lengths are also available and can be custom-made to specific lengths by our team, if necessary.
10GBASE transmission
SFP+ 10G AOC cables support 10.3124 Gbp/s using fibre optic cables which makes them highly resistant to electromagnetic interference, in contrast to Direct Attach Copper (DAC) Cables.
Compliance
All SFP+ 10G AOC cables are fully compliant with MSA (Multi-Source Agreement) SFF 8431, 8432 and 8472.
Vendor/OEM compatibility
These SFP+ 10G AOC cables can be programmed to be compatible with all major switch and server brands, such as Arista, Cisco, Dell, HP, and Juniper (see full list of options above). .
We can offer a cross compatibility service allowing multiple vendors to be connected from the same AOC cable. For example, end A could be programmed to be compatible with Arista while end B could be programmed to work with Cisco.
