Note:
We found that the factory E30 M3 had too much seam sealant near and around the top of the rear shock mounting area, causing the reinforcement plate to not lie completely flat.
Please modify the plates to accommodate the manufacturing tolerances of these specific models.
Description:
The metal plates on top of the E30, E36, E46 rear shock towers have a well-known weakness: the metal is prone to tearing over time, especially when subjected to strong impacts.
It is the best insurance for the shock mount to install the shock mount reinforcement to avoid repairing expensive shock mounts in the future!
