Circuit Description:
KA2284 is an integrated circuit used for 5-point LED level indication. It can output different lighting states of 5 LEDs by inputting different high and low voltages, and the LEDs are turned on and off in sequence. The number of LED lights is often used to indicate the output of the power amplifier or the size of the ambient sound, that is, the louder the sound, the more LEDs are lit, and the lower the sound, the fewer LEDs are lit.
This circuit is composed of triode amplifier circuit and level indicating circuit. The microphone sends the received sound to the triode Q1 through C3 for amplification, and then sends it to the signal input terminal (8 pins) of KA2284. KA2284 drives 5 groups of light-emitting diodes to display on and off. . The power supply of the circuit is 12V, R1-R5 are the current limiting resistors of the light-emitting diodes, and every 5 light-emitting diodes are connected in series. The left and right sides of the glasses are 5 groups of light-emitting diodes corresponding to the mirror image. Adjusting RP1 can adjust the sound sensing sensitivity.
